there has NEVER been a CA18 with 1000hp. He is so full of **** he should be put to sleep for the crime of existing on the same planet with the rest of us. Next time you are at the track take $1000 dollars with you and bet him a dollar for ever horse he comes up short on the dyno. You will go home with likely $1650 in your pocket.

300 is above average, 400-500 is very good. There are CAs in the 600 neighborhood but they are very serious builds. lots of money and skill and probably not the best choice for getting to work in the morning.

well what im probably gonna do is, pull another CA out of a pulsar?? or something, and just build it up, and swap them out later, im not really in a hurry.

and what major TECH problems do they have normally, so i know what to look forleaks? turbo failure? etc....

Use the motor that is in the car for the build, the pulsar one is not as good without modding the block.

Rods, forged pistons, metal head gasket, seriously strong fasteners, huge fuel injectors, cams, a large turbo, some engine management, and you should be set.

everything can still be found without having to order custom stuff. You just have to know where to look.

That is complete and total bull****. There has never been a 1000hp CA and that is why you never heard of one. Don't perpetuate myths like that.
