Well it's a purpose built drag car...anything with 1000hp is going to be designed pretty well

In every engine it's rarely an issue of if the block can handle the power. It's usually just internals.

Now get into a 350z aluminum block and those guys are buying thicker sleeves etc... I would HATE to have to deal with all that.

There is an issue with the #3 cylinder. That's the one that always goes through the block. I know some blocks are machined on-center to well, perhaps those are the weaker ones. Whatever the reason, most things can be corrected for.

You don't need to worry about anything more then 300 though
