1k hp is not uncommon on rb26's, i have a video of one pulling 1300hp to all four wheel and a 2jz is300 doing 1250.

Quote »Within the race-bred block CP pistons swing on a balanced-modified stock crank via Crower connecting rods. The Nissan runs a GReddy T88 single-turbo conversion with a GReddy Type-R blow-off valve and a GReddy wastegate on call in supporting roles.During reinstallation the head was fitted with HKS 280 degree cams and adjustable cam gears for fine-tuning finesse.[/quote]yeah i bet they could get a 1000rwhp out of it:), now as far as the stock chasis will hold i don't know, but it can be a lot aparently.

1000hp and original itb's is kinda far fetched. I thought they were limited out around 600-700hp. What ever its not my car but it just seems kinda wierd. With the original plenum I wouldnt think it will last too long at 1000hp. More power to them but I give mad props to whom ever keeps the twins when they do 26 swaps.

Yeah, I call BS too---no way with individual throttle bodies, and even more unlikely with the OEM plenum.

You do not need a CAS if you use any standalone that utilizes a crank angle sensor that reads a wheel or magnets attached to the Crank Pulley. I ran SDS EM-3 I had my CAS on the engine just to cover the ugly *** hole, but my timing was read off of four magnets on the Crank Pulley and a sensor that was bolted to the oil pan and extended to sit right behind the crank pulley. TEC 3 reads from a tooth wheel, Motec reads from a tooth wheel, Nissan CAS or magnets if you so desire, Haltech uses magnets, tooth wheel, or original Nissan CAS. In this case he is using a DTA Pro Stand alone engine management system.
