100 point courtesy check-up?

I got a deal in the mail that Nissan will give me a FREE "100 Point Courtesy Check-up."

Then I read the inside of the folder and it says it is a "visual" inspection.

Worth my time considering the closest dealer is a two-hour round trip?

The only reason they offer those free checkup's is to try and sell you some service that you may need. They do the exact same thing when you have them do an oil change they just don't tell you about it.

Some dealers might try to "sell" you service by doing that. But you don't have to take it and it is good to know what is going on with your vehicle. Ever notice that the vehicles that are extremely well maintained are always in much better shape than those that aren't? But, like I said, you don't need to listen to what they say if you choose not to believe it or if you feel like your car doesn't require it.

I'd take it since it's free. See what they have to say then go to a different dealer for a second opinion.
