I bet you'll get at least half of a dyno pull out of it before the ringlands go "CRACK!"...I forsee this happening at ~4250rpm.

With C16...maybe.

100 octane, NO.

the engine can handle 16 psi of boost pressure for short burst, it would take more boost pressure then that to blow up the KA, but its the knocking that would kill it faster then anything.

when your running stock timing with 100 octane, its bound to knock and knock hard. orion predicted it the blow at 4250 rpm which is not even at the tq peak of our engines.

if you have some kind of super high octane like C16 then it would resist knocking by alot and it would help you get away with murder almost.

when you run C16 make sure your gas tank is as empty as possible then put it in, cause 93/C16 does not = to C16.

depends on the turbo...................if its a str8 t3, maybe..............definitely not on a t04e. but u would most likely blow out spark on either turbo as u wouldnt really know where to set ur spark at.

I'm planning on doing 20psi on 100 WITH timing being pulled...

Why not just do 16psi on pump with a good tune??

you dont want to do that. it's not as easy as filling the tank up with methanol. you need a new fuel system that can handle it (cell/injectors/pump/lines, etc.) and a standalone to controll it. and its really not cheaper considering it needs to burn at ~4:1afr.

meth injection, thats cost effective

But certainly it could be done with a BTM?
