Is it ok to run 100 octain gas in a 06 350Z with stock internals will it mess up the engin or anything like that? Just wondering?

100 octane is very expensive and also hard to find. Anything over 93 octane is over kill and you will not see any benefit. Only very high compression motors (tuned) need anything over 93.

the mian point of higher octane is to resist preignition, the higher the octane rating the higher the resistance to pinging, old lead in gas had a higher ocaane than nonleaded and some race gas still contains lead, the higher ocataine also burns at a higher btu but it's not significant enough to show up more than normal static on a dyno, and using lead in race gas can damage your O2 sensor

100 octane gas makes a big difference.. maybe not on the dyno but u definately feel it on the gas pedal.... but the only set back is say bye bye to those 02 sensors...
