I'm really stumped I have a car (2002 infiniti G20) that I've replace the clutch twice and both time the clucth wears before 200 miles. Now the only thing that I've beeen able to come up with is the pilot bushing is bad. But the G20 doesn't use a pilot bushing in the crank. I've also checked the output shaft for play and there is none.

There is a bad vibration coming from somewhere and I think it has to do with the clutch wearing prematurely. I haven't been able to locate the source yet.

I just sent the flywheel out to get checked/resurfaced and there was no warpage found.

I'm at a lost so any ideas would be helpfull to help validate further.

What type of clutch? The clutch adjusted properly? Proper Break-in procedure?

It is an aftermarket clutch. I'm not aware that the clutch could be adjusted.. please advise.

Whatever is going on I feel would happen even with the factory clutch. I've personally made sure that the break in procedure is followed.

Just thought of something in regards to the vibration... Does this engine have a balance shaft? I don't think the balance shaft has to do with this concern but maybe that explains the vibration.
