I just went through all my bottles and juges, etc, in my basement and i came across my coolant...now i thought for sure that i had bought the mix stuff with antifreeze and water all in one, but it seems as though i had bought pure coolant/antifreeze...so that means that i was running it with no water for about 3 months back in the summer/fall and it has been stored with that in it for the past 6 months...oops!!!

So how bad is that? She still starts fine, doesn't seem to over heat, but she was burning a lot of oil those last few months...isn't coolant corrosive? I'm gonna flush it tomorrow and run 80% water and 20% coolant...what should i check?

Absolutely no harm done.

Morer coolant = more additives actually is less corrosive.

The reason we usually add (distilled) water is to increase the heat capacity (and indirecty heat transfer as well) of the resulting mix.

As a result we reduce the likely hood of overheats.

So if you didnt experience any over heat conditions ,no harm was done.

70% dist water, 1 bottle RWW, rest antifreeze.Assuming you do annual changes.

yeah, what fred said. if you dont use water wetter then just go 50/50 with distilled water.
