I just thought I would post regarding the $100 parts car I bought a few weeks ago. Turns out it was flooded, nothing catastophic. We changed the oil, and replaced the fuel filter friday and took her on a test drive yesterday. Needless to say, it drives like a dream. What a difference between my 90 Q and the 94..... Anyway, any suggestions on what to do next? I am thinking belts and transmission service, and I know it needs a new antenna (Its bent slightly, but power is there). Should I be concerned about the fuel pump at 122,000 miles? Thanks again. Alicia

Congratulations on a heck of a deal. It'll be the most expensive $100 you ever spent

If you don't know the car's history, you must replace all fluids and filters.

Fuel pressure test will tell if you need a new pump. Is it noisey? Not definititive, but indicative.

An inspection fo the suspension will probably reveal other worn out rubber parts.

Now I know Berner is no perfect NICO member (I doubt many are). But statements like that are just plain un-called for.

Original Poster email me and I will send you an invite to EVERTHING you would possibly want to know about the Q45.
