Is it a genuine Nissan warranty or a dealer only warranty?

Many non manufacturer warranty insurance companies go bankrupt after a few years when they actually begin to pay out expenses. Part of this Ponzi Game by locating in off shore locations.

Research the number of problems and failures in the past 8 years.

Reputations for longevity and quality take years to build, unfortunately modern [1998+] designs use expensive electronics and lighter duty parts.

Roughly you have a 1 in 4 chance that your costs for failed components will exceed $2200 by 100k.................are you lucky or the converse.

The problem is labor and parts are ~~ equal on somethings so might be better to say the odds are 1 in 3 that you will spend more than $2200 above the normal mainteances and wear and tear items.

V6 usually cost about $1,500 per year [10 cents per mile] for tires, brakes, normal uncovered things.
