I think it was J-Spec that proved that with a high enough object to throw our cars off of, we could ALL have sub 10 second 1/4 mile cars :D

Edit: It should be mentioned that Greaser from FA ran a 10.8somethin with 385whp. I'm certain it was with slicks and a lot of drivetrain abuse, but its damned impressive nontheless. I dont remember if it was an SR or KAT, I think he's built both but I think its certainly possible and you dont need 500hp to do it either.

that's funny.

as far as i know, once you're hitting 350hp you're bound for a motor build-up. well, from what calculating, 300whp~ gets me into 11'sec, and 450 probably will break 10's w/ drag radial or slicks. hmmm....

10sec guys, show your face .... ;)

That is Mike from AZ's car, I dont believe he has driven it in quite some time, but he is looking for 600hp as soon as JWT gets done with the 96lb program for him. Mike is pretty much the one who Pioneered the JWT ecu and made then who they are.

just a side note: certain turbo F1 cars have run between 50-75psi.

another side note its my understanding that semi trucks run upwards of 70 and up to like 100 or something like that

semi trucks also rely on huge compression to ignite their a/f mixture, so they need a lot of pressure

anyone see the monster garage where they took a peterbuilt 14 liter inline 6 and put it in a custom chopper?

With alternative fueling, 40 psi is quite capable. Enjuko has a SR20 putting out over 500 with stock internals. That seems to be the benchmark to beat with a KA. I'm going for 500+ myself, but I believe I'll have to use N2O as well as boost and Toulene subinjectors.
