im about to order some headstuds for my kat my block is going to the machine shop tuesday i was going to get 11mm arp headstuds but i was told i have to get my block machined to accept these so are they 1mm longer or 1mm wider or should i just get the 10mm im gonna be pushing over 400 with my setup thanks for the help and yes i searched

Wider. They would have to drill the current threads smooth, and tap it for the 11mm studs.

so i m guessing i need to do my head also that would make sense thanks if i use the 10mm is there a limit on these do i have to worry about my head lifting under high boost

You dont have to do anything to your head, you just have to get the right tap and dye and use it accordingly.

As long as your not going 500+ hp your fine with 10mm.

Thanks for picking up the ball 480, I've been busy as hell, and haven't had a chance to follow up. I myself intend to do mine at 11mm before I get the machine work done on my block. I have a t3/t4 at the moment, but I'm building so all I will need to do is change external parts to make more power.
