You should be careful when playing the rating game. She may only want a 10 too. Take a peek in your shorts, you measure up?

You can't know if a lady is a 10 untile you have been with her for a while, banged her every which way possible, seen her in the morning with her hair all f***ed up and sporting dragon breath, how she acts "that time of the month" etc. A "10" is more than just a measure of beauty, and beauty is a subjective term. My buddy would not even look at the chick seriously unless she was at least 300lbs. He likes fattys. Nothing wrong with that.

What your wife doesn't yet realize is that your 10 was actually two 5's.

^ AT least she and her sister dont have to argue about who looks better.

PMQ, I mostly agree with you. Only thing is that there can be more than one 10. Perfection can manifest itself in several ways. I have no 'type'. I have no problem labeling two girls who look completely different as 10's.

I understand exactly what you're saying PMQ. It's something I've said about video game reviews for years. Any time I see a game get a 10, that reviewer loses all respect with me. No game can be perfect. EVER. No game is a 10.

And no woman is a 10. Might be a 9.9 but not a 10. To be a 10 she has to be the most incredible woman EVER, and you can't know that.

If you assign a maximum value that means that to achieve the maximum value you must get EVERYTHING right. A perfect score.
That is a good point, but not everything is assigned a maximum, quantifiable value. For example, a test in a math class may have 100 questions and if you get every question correct then you have achieved perfection on that test. But if you are referring to something subjective then there isn't really such a thing as perfection. Perhaps I find a movie to be perfect, but you don't really care for it... since there is no quantifiable way to prove it's perfection we must agree to disagree. So, I believe, if someone were to characterize a girl as a 10, it can't be true perfection but the closest thing possible.

This is exactly how I feel about the 1-10 scale. Thats why I rock the 1-3 scale.

Rumor has it, there is a 4 in this world

What is a 4?

Thats a girl YOU would "dine on" after I "gently caressed" her. OH!! Gross....

I believe this thread can, in good confidence, be closed by saying that different people have different opinions on things, especially women.

Perfect example: Megan Fox in the first transformers movie-Everyone said she was the hottest chick on the planet when that movie came out.

Rachel Taylor<----- actually is way hotter, and is in the same movie.

The tattoo on her neck, the accent......awe jeez

I agree with PMQ. Although beauty is subjective, perfection does not exist. That is the simple truth and since 10 represents perfection, it, by definition cannot exist. I don't care how subjective beauty is.

LOL. You're not getting it.

How can you identify perfection? Unless there is an objective method to identifying perfect you cannot classify anything subjectively as perfect as there are too many factors. The highest you could get would be 9.9...

you're definitely looking into this entirely too much. the point is, everyone's idea of a 10 is different. upon first encounter, a number rating only represents physical attributes. in that sense, i've come across many girls who were, in my eyes, 10's. factoring in personalities is 99% guaranteed to alter their initial score.

yeah everyones definition of beauty is different.

a girl to you could be a 10 (the absolute most perfect looking woman and best for you) while to your buddy she could be a 7.

i hate rating scales. hahaha.

I grade women on the binary scale.

There is no 1. Only 0.1110011001100...

I think that makes sense...binary fractions and I have never really gotten on that well.
