My gf has a Droid 2 and it connects via blue tooth fine. When she places a call, she can talk and hear fine. On the other hand, the receiver of the call always gets very distorted feedback whenever they speak. Anyone have the same issue or have a possible solution?

There is a page in the owner's manual about the Bluetooth Microphone Learning Procedure (or something to that effect). Have her run through that process (it's lengthy, but it also serves as resetting/calibrating to the user's voice, which may help eliminate the distortion issue.)

Good luck!

On the other hand it could be a compatibility issue between that handset and the stereo as well.

In that case, here is a link that goes through compatible phones by Nissan model. This will tell you if it is indeed a compatibility issue.
