Busy beaver this morning. Drove to the "spot" got some new wheels for the Q, went to see Herr.Koenig, test fit, all fine and dandy. Started to seperate the wheels. Did 1 front, 1 rear and took some pics, before the barrels go out to the polisher, and the centers to the painter.

rear 1

front 1

Duo

the family.

The Don.

the centers wont be black, but the bolts will remain gold.

Should be real nice when re-finished .

A few questions ...

What was the final #'s for the front? It looks very flush in this pic

Did you check to see how close the rear would be (once tires on) to the springs/struts?

Will the rears stick out past the fender once monuted?

More photos as you progress, please.

clearance inside the fender doesnt seem to be a problem at all. Neither front or rears and close to the suspension. I've had VW's where I couldnt fit a business card in-between, but this seems to have ample room. enough so that I think a 11" with the same offset is possible.

Once it's lowered and dropped the rear should camber itself in nicely, it's always misleading seeming it w/o tires or with any camber at work for you.

Front is 19x9 +24mm. Fronts sit a wee bit inside the fender, I could probably run about a 10mm spacer and still be o.k.

What kinds of wheels are those?

I've been thinking about replacing my wheels and have been searching ebay. For the most part, I've been hunting down strictly Nissan and Infiniti wheels, but the more time passes, the less I desire a wheel with no lip. It just does something for the look of the car. Those wheels you have there are absolutely beautiful and the lips are so deep....sigh. What color are you going to paint the center? I think the black looks good the way it is for your car.

The wheels are SSR Vienna Dish "G" Package. Which really are just the regular black vienna's w/ gold bolts. SSR Japan Lists them as $109,000Yen/each for the fronts and $126,000Yen /each for the rears in my sizes. on their website(full retail) which is about $200+/- what a person could actually get them for, if you can get a set shipped to the US.

As far as colors go, im not sure. I've never been a black on black fan. So, I figure I'll end up with some kind of satin silver or machined face with satin silver sides. I'm not 100% sure.

Im about 90% certain i'll just re-finish them and sell them. As im after the Euroline VD. But who know I might get em re-finished and they look hot on the car. Only time will tell. Barrels will go out to the polisher this week and the centers to be re-painted as well.
