10/19/02 Nissan/Infiniti Meet Bowling Green Ky

We are planing to meet at the Rallys on Preston close to the Gene Snyder about 1:00pm, and plan on leaving for Bowling Green about 2:00pm or so. We will be going to meet some NICO members at the Corvette Museum. Then go to Beech Bend to play around on the 1/4

i forgot already, it takes you about and hour and a half to two hours to drive to BG right?

heh But anyway, I dont think Im gonna be goin to any meets till next year cuz Im busy for the next two weekends to come so I wont have a free one till Nov.2nd...but who knows, it might still be nice enough to have a meet by then....I hope

hey wicked s14, are those corner lenses beside your headlights aftermarket? they look diff. than my '95 corners. i kno you have the clear side markers, but those corners look more clear or sumthin. like they have more of a mirror effect or sumthin....

HA! I just got the go ahead to be able to come down this weekend. Will someone please post exactly when/where we are supposed to meet in Louisville? It's 1pm L'ville time, right?

Wow that's AWESOME!!! ..

Actually we are still kinda debating amongst ourselves between 1 pm or 2 pm.(we have a couple of guys that can't get out of work until later)

But even if the "official" start time should wind up to be 2pm many, if not most of us, will be there early (ie 1pm).

I am definitely looking forward to it! I'm trying to get a couple local Nissan freaks to come with me, but that's still up in the air.

Where exactly are we meeting at 1300 L'ville time? Is it the Rally's on Preston or where?

Yes, Rally's on Preston, we picked the same location as last time to minimize chances of PPL geting lost.Email me and I'll email you my cell# just in case.

But here are the directions again:

If coming from Indianapolis:

-Go south on I65 all the way until the OUTER LOOP exit (big signs).-Exit going EAST on Outer Loop..-After the exit the third light or so is a huge avenue called "preston".-Take a right on that-About a mile on your left is a Rally's which is right on the street can't be missed. -A strip mall is right behind it.

You will be able to see us from the street as the Plot starts about 8 feet from Preston.

Alternative directions are elwhere in this thread coming from South instead of north:

You could also go one exit further to I265 (NOT I264 which is a couple exits before Outer loop)-take I265 east-next exit is Preston take that-Left on Preston\-The strip Mall and rallys will be on your right about a mile/mile and a half from that left turn, again easily seen from preston.

It' be great if you could get buddies to come, Free NICO stickers will be given out at teh meet by me.

Repo, if you bring some people, this is gonna be a relatively huge meet i think. last time there was like 8 or 9 or us i think, but this time it looks like maybe 12-15 if you bring some people and sygerwulf bring the DSM guy back again. the DSM guy is timmy, but his car was in the shop last week for transmission trouble, again. so its play it by ear if he comes. but that is awesome that you may get some people to come

Hey whats up im new with NICO but i live in the louisville area and have a '93 240sx not a lot done to it yet -15" motegi's-flowmaster exhaust-500 watt systemi would love to come to a meet but i would have to know ahead of time to get off work.

Nope, stock corner lenses. All I did was replace the stock bulbs with those super white APC..(sorry, thats the only APC part I have and they actually look good at night) xenon filled ones or whatever they're called..cuz when I put the bright headlight bulbs in, my corners looked all dingy. I guess its just the bulbs that give it more of a mirror affect..dont know why.

i can't wait either. i'm bringing the J for sure, and if those damn KYB AGX's ever come in so I can put them on, we're bringing the I30 to. If they come in today I can put them on tonight, and then we'll have time to use the rack at a friends shop to fix this little trunk problem.
