A year ago today was when I picked up the Rogue.

Just under 20k miles later I have learned the following about the Rogue:

Dealership oil changes are a PITA.

The backseat is too small for an infant seat

Your eyeballs looking at it could scratch the clearcoat

The 'dead-spot' during acceleration is bothersome

the MPG computer has yet to be correct

The lack of rear visibility can be overcome, if you have full range of neck motion

The passenger seat does not recline to a flat or remotely comfortable position

Nissan's silver ice paint is a b**** to match

I have had 0 mechanical probs

bluetooth rules

intelligent key rules

continental tires are good in NY

4WD > AWD

CVT>AT

ST>CVT

The Rogue's front end is a bug's worst nightmare

Good summary, glad to see you balanced the negatives with positives.

I'm really surprised to see your point about the back seat being too small for a car seat. The whole reason I bought the Rogue is because we had a kid last year and needed something bigger than my car. I always love how roomy the back seats are, and the height is perfect for lifting a kid in and out without having to bend or bang your head. We have our car seat installed AND the front seats can still be slid back without sacrificing leg room. In my wife's Mazda car, the passenger seat has to be slid forward to accomodate the car seat, which isn't that big of a deal but the front passenger gets cramped if you go on a long trip. So the Rogue has been just awesome for this, I think it has more rear leg room that the RAV4 and CRV, as I remember comparing all these detailed specs when deciding on my purchase last year. IMO only a minivan would be better for kid seats, and I'm not going there!!

using the Graco 32 infant carrier system....it has to go centered or else the passenger is eating dashboard and it fits snug behind passenger seat....and when placed in center position the LATCH tethers cannot be used to solely support the seat base.
