1 stupid question

I was hoping someone on here can help me...what's the bolt thread for the trans crossmember?? just because I have what i though was the right bolts but they keep getting cross threaded..

ive done more transmission swaps then i want to remeber..with the crossmember you want to push it up soo high that nothing is touching the brace..once you get one bolt in only thread it in like 2 threads and then you will need to move the brace around a bit to allow you to put the other bolt in...you just must make sure to lift the transmission up real high...use a jack so you can have two free hands

I've got that part...but what's happing is when I thread the bolt into the hole the bolt strips.
