I've been given a small budget at work to accessorize a Versa to attract the younger crowd.

This is where we're at so far:

Day 1

Day 2

more to come...rims...etc...

any ideas?

well, so far, I've only done little mods as well

one thing that made my versa look 100% better was painting the trim on the grille

the chrome trim on my blue versa stuck out like a soar thumb, besides, there's no other chrome on the car, asside from the headlights (which I'm planning on blackening).

i just removed the grille and took the trim out by pushing in the tabs, primered it and painted it flat black

since you have a noseguard, it might not be necessary, I can't entirely see 'cause my monitor is really dark

next i'm going to get the sideskirts painted because the black is kinda annoying, but the wing looks great and I'm definately interested in getting one for my versa, did you just order the part from nissan directly? or did you get an aftermarket wing?

Looks sweet. May I suggest fog lights. I really dislike those empty plastic fog-light placeholders in my car. Aside from how fog lights just look good, it was literally the 2nd day that I'd my car, and we had a lot of fog - a sore reminder that I had two pieces of plastic with cables behind them instead (SL)... You may not be surprised to learn the plastic wasn't cutting through the fog on it's own

Otherwise you have the wing, which was the other thing I would have preferred to wait for in the Sport edition, but didn't when I jumped for a Versa in the color I wanted with the Tech package.

On a small topic diversion, does O'Regan's sell parts and such for the Versa to customers (esp. financed ones)? I was never offered or advised about anything additional on the car. One example, floor mats; it's winter - maybe I'd like to have the choice of getting those branded from Nissan as opposed to the usual Canadian Tire offerings... If they were reasonable, of course

if your budget allows it, find a nice set of 17s and maybe lower it. it would look way better, and really attract the younger crowd.

You can certainly order the spoiler for the Versa from o'regan's. Just pop into the dealership and talk to Ron the parts guy. He'll hook you up, tell him "Justin told me to come down." Just so he knows that it's the white Versa upstairs bringing in customers haha. (just a little inside joke between Ron and myself)

I was looking at a pair of black lipped white spoked 17" rims, but I guess I'm just not allowed to. They want to sell it with two pairs of rims and tires, so they're just taking the all seasons off the 15 steel wheels and putting them on the 15 inch rims and buying a pair of snow tires for the steel wheels.

Interesting.

Foglights are the next thing on mine as well. Those gray inserts don't do it.

Could you add approximate retail costs for each part?

I like the spoiler, fog lights will look good, and so will new rims.

New front brake calipers would looks sweet, and give a bit more stopping power?

a stabilization bar?

sorry, been out of the loop for a while. I just installed the aluminum kickplates on the car and they look pretty class. I don't think I'd spend the money on it myself, but they do make a difference (when you have the door open).

Spoiler: Ordered and Installed $495 CDNVent Visors: $64 CDN (self Installed)Hood Deflector: $124 CDN (self installed, these could be opposite, 64 for the deflector and 124 for the visors, but I can't remember)Aluminum Kick Plates: $49CDN (self installed)Tint: $199

we, put what look like foglights from afar on where the fog lights are suppose to be and they look really good, makes me want real fog lights.

The rims...the parts department seems to be lagging.

I'll get some pics of the "fog lights" and the kick plates soon. Probably saturday.

well, the white was sold and delivered yesterday, so it's no longer in the showroom.

BUT, I've been giving the authority to accessorize another one, this time it'll be a Magnetic Grey auto 1.8S, since we have a 1.8SL manual Sprt Pkg coming in next week, it'd be pointless to do a 6spd.

so, it'll get the same treatment:

TintSpoilerVent VisorsHood DeflectorAluminum kick platesmaybe if I can get some sort of body kit up here this time it'll get one of those, before it's sold.

I say go for the Stillen kit, maybe minus the spoiler. Nice looking, not too flashy, not too pricey either.

Plus I'd love to see one installed on something other than the Stillen SEMA car.

Do you know of any sites, besides Stillen.com that you can get the kit from, because I don't think they ship to Canada.

I think versaspeed.com might have them, but their online store is down right now.

If you are lazy with your own tech on your PC, I can only imagine your customers PC's!!

P.S. what is the status on my custom tag?

I work on my customer's PCs and printers with great zeal and enthusiasm.

However, after 8 hours of doing that each day, I don't particularly feel like spending time tweaking my own PC at home, I'd rather do other things with my spare time.

I definitely feel for you there. I worked in mobile office desktop support which could be considered bottom of the barrel in the IT industry (the pay sure was). It's like spending you day running all over town and listening to a bunch of people asking simple questions like, "How do I adjust the time on my computer?" or "Do you think all these magnets are causing my computer problems" The only plus side was when you fixed the hot girl's computer Now I've moved to the background server/network side. No more interaction with the general employees
