yes DR'S 255-50-16's.iam learning how to drive the car on the dr's. it was the 2nd time at the strip with the turbo setup.and i was not in high boost yet. need to dyno one more time then TURN it upDRIFTEADOR wrote:was that on DR's?!? any tricks to get out of the hole quicker? how about the front sway?
i wish i could see the vid but i only have 56k at work
I've never tried it (never been to the drag strip) but it should help somewhat. The concept is that removing the sway bar will allow the weight of the car to transfer more easily to the rear because the front suspension will no longer be connected. It also removes weight from the front, always a plus in drag racing.DRIFTEADOR wrote:has anyone else heard of a significant 60ft improvement from taking the front sway bar off? I've mentioned it to two other members on here and i got the impression they didn't know what I was talking about.
