That's right... the stripped-down Versa is already available, according to Nissan's website. I priced out the "base" model at $9900, which includes nothing as standard equipment, not even a radio. Basically, a quality nothing car for the price of a fully-loaded Hyundai. Nissan hasn't offered anything like this since the late 1980s.

Also...

There is a new color available for the SL hatch; basically silver with a bluish tint.

For the hatchback, that ice blue?? looks kind of cool, but funny thing is Canada's ice blue become more like light sea ocean blue...

I better visit nissan dealership, and have a look...

Yeah man, I checked out Nissan's website on the versa 1.6 base. I wish they came out with another color besides that arctic blue. Orange and/or Green would of been cool. However, I'm still a proud onwer of the most expensive Versa available.

I know of a few people who would buy one if they made it in the orange that they had on the Rogue a couple years ago. Oh well

Sapphire Blue has been retired as well. It's been replaced with the Metallic Blue.

So you're saying it costs the same as a fully loaded Hyundai? which Hyundai? Isn't Nissan touting this as the cheapest new car sold in the states?
