are you sure those are quarter mile times speed? just curious, cause i thought they didnt measure 1/4 mile in japan....

Well they are because I got them from Australia. Unless they use Nautical miles in australia, the site really didnt specify. :P

Don't they use the 400 meter everywhere else other than the US? And isn't 400 Meter = 1/4 Mile = 1320 feet?

Well 400M is actually 1312.322 feet so i guess they have a slight advantage when racing their cars on a 400M. Why arent 1000M or mile long runs popular?

because you'd be hauling serious ***! most cars would top out somewhat soon after the 1/4 mile run.

Stock 1/4 mile times may be a little bit faster that what you have posted. I'm not sure about the tracks in AU but in Japan they have really poorly prepared tracks. Most of the Japanese drag cars the come to the US run their best times here despite having to travel 8 ft more before finishing because of how well our tracks are prepared.

around here people only race 1/2 mile....1/4 mile is only enough time to get traction : )

plus their turbo's dont spool to the 1/8 mark , hehe
