With stock setup on high boost, what kind of times could I expect for each of the SR20 engines?

Depends on the driver and what mods. But I've heard stock SR's run low to mid 14's. But I do know this question has been asked a lot. So you could search and find your answer.

As he said, depends on the driver, expect mid 14s.

whats your definition of stock? Most of us consider a "stock" setup a swap with a 3" downpipe, hi flow cat or test pipe, 3" exhaust, intake, and in most cases, a FMIC.

BuudWeizErr - Let me modify it to make it easier to give an accurate answer. Say you did that plus Flywheel/clutch, BOV, injecters, upgreaded radiator and a boost controller (what most people have it seems for mods) ran at the highest relaible boost (10 psi or so)

So basicly, what do all of you run because it seems that you guys have similar set-ups?

Yeah, thats pretty much my idea of stock setup, everything needed to maximize power output without any major additions like a bigger turbo.

hah, i am running 13psi, fmic, 3" dp, walbro 255lph, and some other minor modifications, and i EEKed out a 13.578 @ 104.77 best (this was on race fuel). Once. My normal times with these modifications and street tires is about 14.0x - 13.9x range.

With a LSD you should expect low 13s. I believe with a FMIC, exhaust, Fuel Pump, BOV, Boost controller, etc.

you should be able to hit the 14 mark, if not better. I have a friend with a SR20DE...sentra of course and ran 15 flat with 75 shot dry set up nitrous

an LSD most likely wont make a .5 second difference, it should knock off .1-.2 maybe .3 secs of the 60ft time, with good tires.

There's a guy on ebay selling a 240 w/ an sr20det. He claims his 1/4 mile times to be in the mid 13's. The strange part is that his trap speeds are in the low (really low) 90's.

He says:Quote »These car my best 1/4mile time: 13.38 @94.57mph with 14psi and 1.93 60ft. The second best is 13.70@90mph with 12psi and 2.13 60ft[/quote]http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors...27719

Me's thinks he's had too many of these. :bonghit :bonghit :bonghit :bonghit

Hey, that's my car,You think am lying about the timeslip? Wanna know How I did it? Notice the '60ft, I redline @6200rpm after first gear. There's no use going to 7k, because SR with stock fuel system will max out after 6000 or 6100. Trust me, you will get better time if you shift at 6000. I was in the World Series of Import Racing at Atco raceway in Nov and I broke out with 13.7. That was when I have Saab FMIC, and boost wont go to 14psi. I just got a new FMIC and it I got 13.38 @14/15 psi.

Yes, those are painted stock rims. Too bad the pix quality is terrible(onetime use camera). Everybody say the car is sleek looking and also sleeper. I like to keep it clean, but Im looking to build an 14.5. This time I'm gonna do Show and Go, But it doesnt mean big wing and stickers.

my best is 13.2 @ 108 with a stock fuel pump! I'm still not sure how it ran so well with the stocker pump, but, i've got my walbro pump now and all is well. Oh yeah, this is a '97 S14 with a red top and bolt-ons. Also with 255 rears w/LSD and 60' on that run was 1.978

Other than a FMIC, Boost Controller, and 14psi, what other mods did you have. And what your hp. I wanna be at 13.5

with the jdm 180 sx's and silvia's here in australian mid to high 13 is doable here on street tyres running 1.1 bar of boost and we get the ecu tuned so the afm stops maxing out or swap to rb 20 afm or fit a fuel cut defender. no need for an upgraded intercooler on a stock sr 20 so may of the cars I see from japan making good power don't have them if they are stock start changing turbo's etc then a cooler is a must.its all in the 60' times as the guy b4 said for each 10th you can knock off there is nearly 3 tenths in total time 1.9 is a grea 60' time with out slicks but doable concentrate on your set up not on power to get your times.meggala

btw if you get a 12 with that mph I would love to see the time slip
