1/4 mile time

Sooooo, I ran my s14 at the track. It just has the basic stuff done to it. CAI, full exhaust, and lowered in the front. Ran a 15.6 @ 86 mph...

Is this the average time for a s14 se? It was my first time at the track, but I had a decent launch and my shifts were pretty quick.

Seems about right for 1st time and mostly stock KA S14.

That seems appropriate, assuming the interior is also intact. Stock is in the upper 15s, is it not? Dropping a 1/4 second or so off stock on your first trip to the track sounds decent.

The only interior mod is a rear seat delete. I'm glad that time is normal. I expected maybe a high 14 and thought something was wrong with the car when I ran 15.6. But thanks guys! I only got 2 runs. I'm hoping to shave a little time off next year when the track opens again.

Yeah seems pretty good for a stock ka and full interior. Remeber in ideal running form the KADE is about 180hp thats maybe 150 to the wheels if your luckiy and if the engine is in top running form. Stock SR i think runs high 13's low 14's

KA24DE stock is 155hp and 160lb/ft at the crank, average 125-130rwhp. So 15.6 is more than respectable.
