Was out tonight testing out my 248/232 camswap and exhaust...didn't do so good according to my gtech.

8.5 sec 0-60 1/4 in 16.47 @ 89.7 mph.

Based on the nearly 90mph 'trap' I am thinking I should be closer to 15.5 flat.

Maybe I am not launching at a high enough rpm. My suspension is stiff which I know hinders a launch.

Any ideas, I am hoping to get to a track sooner or later on a test and tune to get a couple real runs in.

damn, yea that trap is pretty high....i ran 16.0 at like 85 with intake n exhausthowever, u dont know ur real time till u go to the track...dont rely on a gtec as they are not 100% accurate

btw...what rpm did u launch at?

3000-4000rpms I think. I am going to try a few more runs once I find a good place to do them.

wow I need to launch at 5k now just to even try to peel out at launch. I got j30 diff with nitto neogen 215/45/17. I can full throttle first and second gear at full boost and I can't get the tire to spin on a roll

I haven't had a chance to play yet, but I am thinking my goodyear assymetrics are like that. I probably need a better clutch than stock to properly dump even my basic bolt ons.

I used to get a ton of wheelspin the way I drove my past cars. I contributed it mostly to FWD for the past few...and inferior tire technology on the Mustangs I drove 10+ years ago.
