So i ran at the track by me. its suppose to be the "worst track in the area" but i dont have many options. here was my best time out of 5 runs:

1/4 mile et: 14.300-60ft: 2.12trap speed: the slip didnt show it damn it!

this is with 7psi on a t3/t4. i dont have lsd and street tires. i saw holyshiznat ran in the 13s with 230whp and on the dyno it shows me at 225 but they also said their dyno reads low.

i was hoping to break into the high 13s. what kind of advise do you have for a rookie on the track?

thats a great 60's for not having an lsd

do you spin the tires at all?

there are alot of variables when comparing two cars even if they have similar things done

Since ya quoted me I will give you a full run-down of what my car had, because as Anthony said you can't compare two cars:

JGS tools manifold, Spearco FMIC, 2.5 inch piping, 3" catless exhaust/downpipe, T3T4 .63 A/R 57 trim, 225 Kuhmo MX's, VLSD, 8.7 psi Tial 38mm dumped external

I ran several 13.3's @ 110 with 2.2/2.3 60's. My car weighed at that time 2580 pounds w/o me in it full interior. It has always been called a freak so go figure.

Just becuse you have the same top end boost or top end power does NOT mean that you spoold as fast or made the same power throuout the entire band.

My wastegate leak drops me by 50whp at 3500rpms... And thats just a gasket.

i have a lull in my dyno around 3-4000. im at work so ill have to look at it when i get home and get a picture onto the comp so you can take a look at it. i wonder if thats a leak with my wastegate as well. by the way holyshiznat the tires you are running...are they drag radials? how long do those tires last? it sounds like we have an almost identical setup besides the VLSD and ohhhh about 35whp and 1/2 sec et.

the kumho mx's are a decent street tire, far from drag radials. i used to have them

Kuhmo MX's don't equal drag radials, they are AWESOME tires but get some power going through them and like ALL true street tires they will give up the ghost easy.

so if i need to keep street tires on my car but want something better than the toyo fz4 what do you recommend? or what kind of tires can i get 15000-20000 out of. im getting more than that out of my fz4 but that is all i really need. i dont drive the car to much. the most driving she sees is to school and back and then just short drives in between.

Kumho MX and Falken Azenis sport should be right around that mileage. stickiest street legal tire though, imo, is BFG's g-force t/a drag radial.

you need a second set of rear wheels, with better tires to use on the track

Also how's the power band? Do you feel a lose in power? Maybe a boost leak

i keep checking and posting from work and forgetting to put my dyno on the post. ill try to remember to get my dyno posted so you can see it. there is a weird spot around 3000-3500 but otherwise it is making power! actually there might be a boost leak with my wastegate... but im not sure...
