Nah - I can see by your sig line that you don't know your right from your left.
Those are both VERY G.O.P. sentiments. I'm proud of ya!
Anyway, "poverty" is a misused ter,m I won't go into the politics that are clearly behind this nonsensical statistic, but keep in mind that my household income (yes, mine) is only $300/month above Federal poverty level standards for our family size. And we do fine.
It's all a matter of how you manage. unfortunately, some of the "working poor" (which the NICOfam and I represent) are poorly equipped to manage their income, and they make poor choices - Which only exacerbates the problem.
But the left-leaners, in their quest to absolve EVERYONE of their personal responsibility for their condition, would have you believe that this is SOMEHOW the government's fault.
I don't see how that can be? I have paid between 3 and 6% in taxes for the last 5 years. What's the government got to do with it?
Get a second job, take some classes, improve yourself and your situation - But for God's sake, quit crying.
