the thermal is made for the 05+ engines so thats the one that you would want for your coupe

as for the copper not really sure about that one

Different materials absorb heat at different rates. I would think you would want the plenum material b\c it would slow the heat transfer to the intake mani. And it looks like the basic kit excludes gaskets.

Check out Motordyne web site for specifics but the options are

1. Spacer - Tony now includes aramid gasket for insert between upper and lower plenum2. IsoThermal Kit - includes aramid gasket for lower plenum to intake manifold, and a cooloant control valve to stop coolant from heating plenum and Throttle body. CCV can be left in off position if you never expect to see freezing temperatures. 3. Copper Thermal upgrade is inserted beweetn throttle body and plenum. It allows coolant to flow and only heat TB, not the plenum. This eliminates need for the manual coolant control valve, and is useful if you expect to see freezing weather

Let mw know if you have questions, or you can call Tony at Motordyne.

As to answer the question of what size, go with the 5/16. There is only about a 1-2 hp difference between the two and that is in the top of the RPM band.
