Hey guys... as you know a number of us are having trouble getting clips/refunds at the moment. but besides that the swap will continue once that gets worked out so my plans must continue. At this point I have...

Walbro fuel pump3" cat-back stainless steel exhaustHybrid Monster IntercoolerLSD (will soon I hope)Downpipe (will soon I hope)Apexi/Revspeed meter. (will soon I hope)R33 clip (will soon I hope)

thing I know I'll still need....

electric fansdriveshaft.

after all this is worked out I plan to spend 1000 more on suspension and 1000 more on engine components...what do you guys recommend I spend it on??

I was thinking...koyo radiator and greddy intake manifold.. this of course would not raise my HP numbers much past stock.

I could also.. possibly sell my RB25 turbo off or get it "hiflowed"and pick up some 550cc side feeds... then of course I'd still have no engine management so I'd atleast need an SAFC.

well gimme your suggestions.

Also stock RB25 boost is set at 10 PSI yes? What can you push the turbo to on stock injectors and turbo. Just trying to establish what I can work with here.

Engine mangement. I would say get that first and because once you start getting into the other things you will need it anyway. Get what you can out of the stock setup first and go from there. I boost 7 on a regular basis which is stock and go to 10-12 just to feel the kick in the a$$. I started with the FMIC, Greddy IM and 3" turbo back exhaust. Had a couple issues. It was to much I think for the stock computer with no management with our low fuel grade. I know have sard 550 injectors, Power FC, 300z mafs and a few more pieces but not yet installed. Waiting on my new turbo. Cant say much now on the turbo, working with Mckinney Motor sports on that. They are getting one speced out for the RB25 as a replacment for the stock. Oh and the first one may be going on my car. then they should offer it as well after we see how it works out. The expected HP numbers are pretty high if it all works out. But that is a secret. So anyway the stock turbo will be one of the show stoppers for reliable high boost so you could start there as well. Another thing you may consider is a fuel regulator. I am using the HKS An fitting adapter with the aeromotive regulator. That with a SAFC may work for you for a while Vice injectors that you wont really need for a while. Well those are just some of my Ideas. You choose what you think is best for what you want. You will be very happy once everything gets worked out and you drive her for the first time even in stock form.

Thanks Hash I was really hoping you replied to this.. other than the piping do you feel it was a worthwhile investment to get the intake manifold? and have you decided yet whether or not u feel the stocker KA radiator is enough?? I was thinkin that some sort of engine management would be a wise investment as well tho i wanted to wait until I had larger injectors and a larger turbo.. getting it sooner wouldn't hurt...

I have a new walbro 255lph fuel pump.. you still think I need a different fuel regulator?? also.. the Rb25's stock boost is 7PSI? I thought it was .7bar.. 10 PSI. I'd be thrilled to learn its only 7.. thanks again Hashi for the insight. I like your car quite a bit so hearing a response from you means a lot

yes.. the stock boost is 7psi.. right now im at 11.. and it feels alright.. 1st and 2nd gear are really quick and then 3rd and 4th fall off a bit.. the stock turbo is really killing it on the top end..

Im waiting on my 60-1/t3 to get here.. i figure it will spool up as well as the stock turbo and will be capable to make up to 600whp... with some 720cc and a safc.... (not sure what EMS im gonna go with yet.) it should be good at 20psi.. and make some nasty HP.... hoping the transmission will hold up!

bryson, a cheap solution for a turbo can be a VG30ET, that rebuilt or something

cyris3d did you ever get your replacement engine yet or are you still using the one from Venus that was real busted up? Just sayin Maybe it'd be a little more powerful if the compression was better.

Thanks for the tips too

Hey Cyris3d I've been meaning to ask... did you use the R33 crossmember? if so do you have the overall measurements for the driveshaft u had made? I want to get mine made soon but I don't have the transmission hre to reference lengths and on top of that I'd probably measure from the wrong point.
