09 Versa No Radio

Hi All,

I just bought an 09 Versa with no radio...ok...

Now I just bought an aftermarket radio but for the life of me I can't figure out how to pop the cover off. Please Help...

I read somewhere that you push the top vent then you pull, but I dont think I understand because there is nothing to pull or push.

Thanks a lot Arco...

But I think I ran into a bigger problem.

I removed everything and all was good. I think the radio I got is too wide for the dash kit made by American International part number ND K-736 which is the correct one for the Versa. The radio I got is a Kenwood KDC-MP242.

Do I need to ruin the dash kit and cut the top part or should I try another radio? I am lost..

I have installed a couple of aftermarket radios before but never ran into this kind of problem...I thought all radios were the same width.

Is there some sort of plastic trim ring around your radio that pops off?

It should fit the dash kit. That's odd..

i just bought a versa with no radio.

is it pretty easy to install the radio yourself?

also, i found a radio dash kit for 2008 versa, is that the same thing for the 2009 versa?
