'09 rogue question installing aftermarket stereo with sirius sc-c1 and jvc adapt

Hi All, so I just bought an '09 Rogue S without the Bose system and have just purchased an aftermarket system, the JVC AVX810 and the Sirius adapters for it. I haven't yet taken the factory stereo out, but was hoping to get suggestions on where to install the 2 Sirius adapters. They are bigger than I expected.

nice lookin stereo, i'm still trying to decide what to put in mine..

when you remove the panel where the A/C controls are, you'll see that behind it, and below the stereo there is LOTS of open space. I'd put it there, assuming that you don't need to access it, that'll keep your wiring between the stereo and adapters nice and short and clean.\

for the antenna, i'd try and mount it under the top deck of the dash, if there is space and it works. on my previous car i did that, worked perfectly and was completly out of sight

remember to disconnect the battery before taking that panel off. If you disconnect the connector to the pass. airbag light w/ the battery connected, then you will trigger an airbag system error and need to take to a dealer to have it cleared.

Well, I got it installed, involved a bunch of modification, both to the Double Din cover plate and it's brackets as well as some of the cars plastic itself (on the side panels). Praise the all spinning dremel tool. Doesn't look bad, but I slipped with the dremel tool and there's a few scratches on the new cover plate, I might just buy another one and make it perfect.
