09 Rogue auto-up windows

I've been cruising the FSM and I am wondering if it is possible to take the auto up window switch from a rogue that has this feature and replace my Auto down only switch with it.

If I am reading the schematic correctly the only wires going to the BCM would be power and the Anti Pinch wire. If I didn't care for the anti pinch it seems like all of the brains of the window system are contained in the driver's switch.

So supposedly I would be able to grab a switch from a rogue with this function and plug it in and go.

Has anyone else done this?

I believe the line going to the BCM is a communication line, not an anti pinch line. This communication line is what allows window roll down by keyfob for example as the front driver and passenger switches can talk to the BCM and each other..

The motors are different when you have anti-pinch, they have additional sensors that communicate with the switch in order to monitor window position for anti-pinch detection.

So you've got different switches, window motors, BCM and wiring setups to make it all happen. BCM may be configurable but everything else requires a physical swap or wiring change.
