A circuit with a blown fuse can't drain anything, the blow terminates the short. So you have separate problems going on. Any short severe enough to suck down the alternator would probably start a fire if it didn't blow the main fusible link, so that's unlikely too. Measure your charge voltage, if it's much below 14V then your alternator has a problem. Fix that first, because a dead alternator with shorted fields or a bum diode can also draw current when the ignition is off. Once you have proper charge, then if any problems remain you can chase them.
