OK,I finally found the first thing that I don't like on my Mo.

The windshield wipers...1st With its two very different sizes the passenger side does not clean as well as the drivers side. The driver side "pushes" a lot more water (and snow) to that side.2nd I can not find anybody that can confirm the sizes so that I may replace them.(We had a hard winter in the midwest and Nissan does not spend a lot of money on the OEM's...)Well anyway I'd be thankful for a little help on the sizes.

Thanksrichie-rich

Welcome to NICOclub, glad to have you here in the Murano Forum!

Replace the OEM blades with the Rain-X Latitude wiper. I am not sure of the sizes off had, I would suggest pulling them off when you find a local retailer near you that stocks the Rain-X Latitude. DO NOT replace them with any other type of wiper or you may be in for a lot of whistling sound coming from them.

The windshield wipers different size is an unfortunate design side effect of enabling the vehicle to have rain sensing wipers. Maybe it's handled differently on luxury vehicles but on the lower to mid-class vehicles it means the drivers side wiper is made much larger than the passenger side. The drivers wiper needs to be large enough to clear the rain/moisture sensor on the windshield.

Doesn't help with the sizes but at least now you know Nissan didn't arbitrarily assign a size to annoy people and make them spend money on the OEM wipers.

the new 'flat' wipers the dealers are selling now are especially bad in this area. the longer wiper ends up 'whipping' around on the glass at higher speeds.
