Hi everyone,

I'm from Canada and I got a 2009 Murano from US. Now, I would like to replace the cluster from miles to Km and I was wondering if anyone else did that and what is involve. Thanks.

The forum is fine. You obviously started a thread that has zero interest to anyone else here. Try again.

If you wanted to convert your odometer to miles (because I don't believe the Murano will switch from one to the other electronically), you'll have to swap the entire cluster to a Canadian model. But first, I would ask the dealer maybe? If you're lucky, there might be a jumper or key combination that can switch it from one unit of measurement to the other.

The reason your post is getting few replies is likely because this is not a very common problem... One other problem you'll have is I believe you Canucks require daytime running lights, while yankee vehicles do not have this feature.

I asked the dealer to replace the original US cluster with a canadian (KM) cluster and the answer was: not posible! The entire electronic system, central computer, etc, has to be reprogramed with the canadian software version and Nissan would not do that.(Nissan does not like canadians to buy Murano with aprox $25000 from US when the same car in Canada costs at least $10000 more...)
