09 Murano SL

yesterday the Murano simply quit on secondary road at 55mph...engine shut down totally/ I was able to get it off the road without power

it started again in a minute and then quit at the next light

dealer towed it in and after two days - nothing - they are stumpedthey did get it to start and then it quit for them also - so they know I'm not crazy

7500 miles - 6 months old

seems electronic to me...anyone with an idea?

I would first suspect low oil level.. Most cars now have a cut off if the oil pressure drops below safe levels..

Did you get this fixed? I had the same problem twice in October (our 09 SL was only a month old) and it just happened again today. The car just died while driving on the freeway. All power just when out, including the engine, like someone flipped off a switch. Then after sitting for a few moments it turned back on.
