'09 Murano Receives Excellent Impact Ratings!

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety rated mid-size SUV's on collision impacts. The '09 Murano passed with flying colors! A side impact with the Murano sitting still and a car going 40mph slammed into the driver's side of the '09 Murano. The Institute said all passengers would have walked away from the collision with minor injuries if any. All mid-size SUV's tested received excellent ratings on front impact with the exception of the Hummer H3 which received a poor rating, they stated that the driver would suffer sever leg and torso injuries in a severe frontal impact. The side air bags in the Murano also really proved to help lessen the chance of injury in a severe collision. Nice work Nissan!!!!
