I know this seems trivial, but the floor mats in my 09 LE AWD Murano are crap. I could have bought better at Walmart. After a month of ownership, one is already unraveling. I owned an 03 Murano, and it came with good mats.

Anyone else notice this? And is there a place online that sells a good set of mats that fits?

Thanks

Doug Frye

Sounds like warranty to me.

Have you asked your dealer to replace them? Maybe you ended up with a bad set. I've seen where the new car prep "Kids" cut the fabric or stitching before (using box cutters while opening/installing floor mats) and resulted in what you describe. My wifes 09 Mo/LE is a year old with no floor mat issues.

Good luck!

I ordered the heavy duty mats from this place and they shipped from some dealer in the NW like Seattle or something.

They arrived in something like a week and they fit perfectly. Seems like the carpet mats are pretty much only good for the summer months if you ask me.

I have the 09 SL model and I didn't care for the floormats either and its the lighter beige ones too and I am very particular with my car so I ordered the hexomats all weather from autoanything.com and they were great!! here is the link: http://www.autoanything.com/fl....aspx

Any particular reason you chose expensive hexmats over the Nissan heavy duty mats?

I am contemplating on which ones to buy. My car has beige interior too.

If you are in an area with "weather," you might consider these:http://www.cabelas.com/cabelas...9&rid=

I asked Nissan for "All-weather floor mats," and they showed me a set of gray mats. That was all they had.I have beige interior and would like to match as best as I can...

They're also very nice because they allow any water or snow to "pool."

sorry for my delayed response...I did some research and read reviews on it and I like it better than those offered by Nissan...a true test was when i had some spillage from a flower vase filled with water and the hexomat definitely held in the liquid better than i expected until i got to my destination to clean it up...it fits very snug and to the specifications of the murano and the contrast is nice to the beige...

i got a pretty good deal with free shipping too...hope this helps...
