Hopefully someone here can help me out. I have an 09 Maxima with the compact flash slot. I got a 16gb card and began filling it with music. When i put the card into the card it will not read most of the files/folders inside of it. All files are mp3 format. At first i thought there may be a folder limit because i never see more than 33 folders. but if i delete one of them another one does not pop up, it just drops to 32. Anyone have any idea what Im doing wrong? any help will be appreciated.

I believe it's a problem with the compactflash format itself. It's actually a really bizarre format to use: outdated, expensive, and limiting. I can't figure out why Nissan still uses it instead of SD.

The issue is that the card reader can only read the first 2gb on the card. So just make sure to keep your music under 2gb and everything on the card should show up fine.
