Finally installed Ksport coilovers yesterday. The only speed bump I ran into was on the rear struts. The rear OEM struts have the nut welded to it and does not remove, obviously. So when you remove the bottom bolt, you are not able to install the coilover. The bottom bolt was a M12-1.25 thread. It was very difficult to find that pitch.

The answer is: purchase 2 bolts at M12-1.75 and 2 locking nuts. Easy solution.

Everything else went smooth. The rear was the easiest.

MY QUESTION IS: How are you able to adjust damper to the rear coils without removing them? Seems like there is no access to the top once installed.

No park.

My driveway is not flat so had to do it in the street. I'm the only house on the corner..

Amazon has them for $945.

Looking good. Question - I know nothing about coilovers, what are the benefits of coilovers compared to regular struts/shocks? Is it just for height adjustment / lowering the car? Does it change the ride quality?

Thanks.

Coilovers= adjustment of height and damper (how hard or soft the ride). Plus looks great!
Ride quality is the upgrade. It gives you the luxury of adjusting to your wants.

I'm extremely happy with the way it came out. Very comfortable ride. I might be the first M35 on ksports. Everyone else seems to go with other brands such as BC or D2 coilovers. I have a history with ksport so I went with what I already have experience with.

Love your yellow fog lights. What kind of bulb are you using?

love the 3k. Do you have any hot spots with them or any green tint? Where did you mount the ballast? Much obliged.

Where can I get those fogs? Amazon? If so what brand?

No tint or anything added to lens. I actually purchased the kit at a local flea market. I'll take a picture of the box when a get a chance. HID kits are not usually brand specific, in my opinion. I have 6k on my other vehicle now for 2 years, no issues.

On my M, those are the original headlamps and of course 3k on fogs.

I mounted the ballast to the nearest free part of bumper. Using zip ties. Nothing really better to mount than that. I checked on them after a week and seems to hold up just fine.
