I would purchase or recommend another, provided that:1. You can put up with small problems, eg. dash rattles, alignment, etc - and go through warranty fixes,2. Depreciation - getting a low mileage used one is quite cheap, provided you have the cash. In other words, don't buy new unless you plan to keep the car for long (which I plan to).frankohabs wrote:Been asked for a recommendation, but don't know about the '09s or about hatches [would not recommend the Sedan as it only has a 1.6, I believe].
So owners . . . getting beyond your bias . . . would you recommend/purchase another?
A two day window so quick repsonse is important
Ok, once again, the sedan version also has the 1.8. It's the CVT that is no longer in the SL version. That might be the deal breaker for some people wanting an SL in either hatch or sedan. I have an older model sedan with the CVT. I got lucky.dee_tymz_sl wrote:Seeing that the 1.8L engine only comes in the HB form I would say yea for the HB. The 1.8 is the better option so I'd recommend that. I have a sedan and love my sedan but if I were to purchase a Versa in an engine that's lower than the 1.8, I would actually consider buying a different car.
And OK, once again, things are a little different in Canada, and we only get the Sedan with a 1.6 Nissan Canada ConfiguratorShad0wXCalibur wrote:

My bad. I missed the Canada part. Used to most of the people here being in the USfrankohabs wrote:

Be glad for you to prove me wrong, though.
No no no!!! Just hit 45,000 km, not a problem found 'cept a front wobble that disappears after 40 km/hr, and after the car warms up [no solution yet; hopefully next Monday when I'm in for a pre-trip check-up]VersaMG08 wrote:You getting a new one? Do you have concerns with current daily driver?
Except Versas don't come with bigger engines or turbos, so yes they are slow. Slow for a 1.8? Not so much but still a slow car in general. And if we all had the money for a turbocharged sports compact, I don't think we would have been looking at the Versa in the first place.SpeedyV09 wrote:Yes, I would buy another hatch, I want a spoiler on it though I think it really ups the look that's just me. I know you can do an after market but I like it better when it comes with the car.
+ The sports edition should be faster maybe a turbo in it, that would show others who think the Versa is slow in a race
At least you tried. I feel like wasting time trying if they don't go forward with the persuasion.frankohabs wrote:So after all that she bought . . . an Accent.
Interest rate and loaded price . . . and amazing service from the dealership her niece had bought from [an all-woman sales and ownership team catering to women didn't hurt either].
She ended up buying an Accent... LOL ... That reminds me of the thread "The Absolute BEST Use of $20 You'll Ever Find." She should have read it.frankohabs wrote:So after all that she bought . . . an Accent.

As long as she's happy with her purchase, that's all that matters.Sucks though that we couldn't bring another one over to the Versa side hehe!dee_tymz_sl wrote:

Anyways, good luck to her and her purchase
