I'm planning to relocate my radar detector from my old car to my '09 G37X. I want to find the easiest 12V. switched power source to hook up to, I'm planning to have the detector up in the visor area so a close source is needed. Any suggestions?

I think you can tap into the homelink power...I've seen someone do it on this site...search around. The FSM will also help.

You can use power from the rearview mirror, that's where I'm tapping my detector.

I was looking into the overhead console or mirror as an option, glad to see it can be done, thx. Now if I could only proof read my posts.

Yeah, the mirror works well. You can pull up the FSM to see which is switched + and which is the -. Off the top of my head I don't remember :(
