Greetings,
My stock '09 G37X Coupe's tires produce extreme tire noise on most pavement surfaces. The sound is especaily loud coming from the front tires.
Is this normal?

It seems all the G platforms have been plagued with tire feathering issues. Depending on how many miles are on your car, this sounds like the problem you be experiencing. The more the inside of the tires feather, the louder the noise gets, especially under braking.

The factory Bridgestone's make more noise as they wear.

Greetings,
Thanks for the info!
The car and tires are new, that's why the noise is particulary concerning.
I'll be trading them out for a set of Michelin Hydro Edge soon. The Michelin tires are super quiet on my other cars.

My G37 Coupe came with Michelins PILOTs and the noise was really bad. At 20,000 miles I replaced them with GENERALs and they were 50% better and the stereo could actaully down them out. The rears are now history at 40,000 so I will try HANKOOKs Ventus V12 eco K110s next. I should have them mounted and balanced in a few days.
