Is this normal? My car is on 20 inch rims and eibachs and up until today that reduced my wheel gap to half an inch or less. I just put new tires on and when I got home I noticed the tire is now clearly behind the fender. Not by a whole lot, but the change is very noticeable. Of course I love the way it looks, but it also worries me because I am afraid I may scrape tailpipe (which I did before, but very rarely) and I'm worried that it if went lower once it could go even lower later on. I didn't notice and rubbing noises or anything like that on the drive home, but I also had my music up loud and wasn't listening for it. Soooo....is this normal and what caused it?

Thanks.

Hmmmm...I wonder if the tires are just slightly thicker? The specs are still 275 30 ZR20 but Falkin no longer made the exact same tire that I had the first time so I had to switch to a version they replaced it with. Falken Azenis PT-722 and now it is Falken Azenis PT-722 A/S. Seems like the all season shouldn't change anything, but that's all I can think of.

275-30-20 should be exactly the same across all tire manufacturers.

For 20" wheels the best match for factory rear diameter is 285-30-20, BTW.

I agree. Plus I over the weekend I drop into my driveway fast (which I do from time to time) and normally I never scrape no matter have fast I drive in. This time my tailpipe grazed the driveway. This means I am definitely lower. Anyone have any ideas? Could my camber be more negative after a tire change?? :wtf2:

A tire change would not affect the camber. Different tires, even if the same size, are not always exactly the same size.
