Im looking to upgrade the bulbs on on G37. Any particular brands and volts i should be looking at?

unless you want to melt or blow something up, you'll be looking for a D2S type bulb, 85v, 35W thats rated above 8000k. But why super bright? to annoy the driver in front of you?

Rated above 8000k? Factory is around 4300k....

I think I meant to type 6000 because yes, the factory bulbs are 4300 or so...

I definetly recommend getting 6000K (color) bulbs. They are a perfect color IMO.

what are you looking for as in a upgrade? you want to change the color? to more blue or goes purple after that or to be brighter so you can see better?

Thanks for the info guys. Im tryin to goo a white and blue. probably blue bulbs for the HID headlights and a ultra white on the inside lights.

There's a certain threshold that you should be aware of. A higher temp colored bulb may appear brighter, but it really isn't.

Soo long for that. Im new to G's and i just realized how much work it is to get to the lights. Hmmm. Now i need to find a good shop. Any suggestions?

if you go blue color or tint that starts at 5000 temperature where you will lose brightness. the most light brightness you will get is up to 5000 so 4200 that the stock bulbs are will be the brightest output.

I have 10,000 k and 6,000 k bulbs on my fish tank..

sorry man I don't have any answers I just thought it was weird to discuss color temp on a carsite
