It's wild how these dashes are put together. They pop apart and together without any real clips. If you are just getting started, you might want to pick up some panel pulling tools and get a soft copy (pdf) of the Service Manual. One good place to start is Walmart in the auto audio department. They sell an installation kit with panel pulling tools, various cables and an input equalizer.
