Is there some type of fuel switch or something. I had my car for only a month and now it's cosmetically f***ed! Sorry for the language. I found this forum hoping I can find out how to start my car after the air bag has been deployed. I have the 2.5 SE. I tried the reset procedure, but it didn't seem to work, unless I didn't do it right.

Im guessing it wont let you start it until the bag is repaired and reloaded. They dont want you driving around without an airbag.

Tow truck...

I'm in s*** right now, my insurance company isn't covering my lost, my car has frame damage in the front and the passenger side of the engine is pushed back a little. It looks like someone hit a f***ing pole. There giving me estimates of $10000 to get it back on the road. I just got the car 2 months ago and still owe like $20,000 on the loan. When I tried to start it, it just clicked repeatedly, can anyone tell me if there's a way to get this thing started and moved so I don't have to pay storage fees?

but the thing is I tried to give it a jump and it was still clicking away. Does these batteries need to be charged for a long time or something?

thats the sound mine made when the battery died. I was at school and had my brother come give me a jump. we tried to jump start it and it just made that same noise. so we left the jumper wires connected for like 5-10 min and then it started fine.... battery died the next morning though and I had to replace the battery.

I know how you feel, when I heard my car making that noise I thought the starter messed up or something. it sounds really bad for just a dead battery

i don't know if this helps but when i had my accident, it was pretty bad. i rear ended a lady doing like 40 maybe and fcked my entire front end. it wasn't completely fcked but still it was terrible. my airbag deployed and i'm not sure if i turned my car off or what [since it was leaking coolant] but i think i was able to start it back up to pull up to the emergency lane.

Dang bro,

Sorry to hear about all that, sux for sure. It really does sound like your battery. I recently had to deal with replacing mine. The stock ones are absolute crap anyway, so if you are still running on your stock batt, I would start there. If it is TOTALY drained jumping it wont work right away. since jumping your bat is basically wiring it in parallel with another battery, if f yours is dead, putting it plainly, your battery will be sucking up most of the juice b4 it gets to your starter. Hook up the cambles and leave it for a while then try it. Or if you have a charger, or another good batt to hook up to it, that may help to. Hope you get it figured out!

good luck

not that this helps your situation, by why is the insurance company not covering your loss? you might want to try to figure that out as it's probably a bit more important than the cost of a tow truck and storage fees

Thanks, but I just left the body shop and they told me the car has frame damage. The engine bolt on the passenger side isn't in the center were it's suppose to be and I would need that side pulled in 3 different ways.

i think we're all assuming here that the car was involved in an accident. how exactly did the damage happen? if the car has frame damage from getting hit or hitting something, it shouldn't matter if there's a bolt off center or whatever, insurance should cover it.
