08 Versa seat noise

I think there was a topic on this before but on my 08 Versa the front drivers seat always makes noise, so I took in into the dealer about 1 month ago and they determined that the seat back assembly was the problem and today they replaced the parts to the seat and no more noise.

What kind of noise was it making? Mine is quite often squeaky.

Its a squeaking noise and it is covered under warranty. According to the paper work I received form Nissan the seat assembly has too much play in the recliner mechanism and causes the squeak.

EV I think you should have yours looked at to see if it is the same issue.

I got that same noise in the front passanger seat. But it doesnt bother me.

I may wait. Psychologically, having 3 service appointments in one month for a car that doesn't even have 24,000 miles is a bit much for me.

Thanks for bringing this up. Mine's been squeaking like crazy and clunks back and forth after I adjust the recline.
