Wassup members,
I'm in the process of getting the 08+ sport bumper on my 06 M35. Bumper has been painted, got the fender liners and the C-Mod grill. I do not like the OEM lower bumper grill and the fog covers, I am going to go custom mesh grill, would anybody know the measurements for the lower grill? I am looking particularly the height but the whole dimensions are welcomed as well.
Thanks M fam!

are you doing this yourself or is a shop doing it? the reason I ask is because my sport front bumper is sitting in my garage, the sport side skirts, and rear valence I think I could do it with a couple of friends but the front bumper looks a lot more challenging.

No I am not, I got the bumper used got $200, needed a little work sand down, plug license plate holes and paint.
The shop will mount for me at no additional charge just waiting to get some mesh grill for lower bumper and surrounding fog lights.

I heard that it plug and play so it should be pretty straight forward, follow same steps as removing...
You should be able to do it yourself but with a buddy much faster.

Alright so I measured the lower bumper grill on my 06 bumper and it is 4" in height, my guess is that the 08 lower bumper grill should be around the same size. I found these 6 1/4" x 3ft steel gutter guard in black (also available on silver but at Home Depot) for $2.98 each.
I got 2 of them and will have the shop work their magic.

Alright guys, here's the update. The metal gutter guard grill that I got from lowes for $2.97 worked fine.
This is an alternative cheap way for the lower bumper grill.
