08 Spec V Suspension Upgrade

I'm looking to upgrade the suspension on my spec v. Should I go with coilovers, if so K sport or D2? Or are the lowering springs a better choice for a daily driver (Eibach or H&R)? I know there's a huge price difference, but if the performance of the coilovers kills the springs I'd be willing to make the jump.

The coilovers are far better if you have the cash. If you don't and this is just a daily street car the springs will suit you just fine.

You go to penn state by any chance being from pittsburgh? I saw a couple of spec v's out there when visiting my x.

thanks for the advice. are these better than the ksport or d2 coilovers? this is my first run at aftermarket parts so I'm still trying to get a feel for it.

It really depends on the owner. Also, compare eachother on the spring rate and see if it's a full ajustable. Plus price and warrantee.

Keep in mind that coils are going to be pretty stiff, so if you're DD'ing on rough roads, they may not be for you. It's also unlikely you'll have much of a chance to really use the full performance potential of the coils outside of racing.

im on the sportlines and i love them .. they are amazin for everyday driving .. granted they are a little bumpy they are not to bad and driving around cape coral suck .. alot of construction and alot of just s***ty roads .. for the price you cant beat it
